Republicans in Colonie have taken back control of town government.

Peter Crummey has declared victory in the Colonie supervisor’s race against Democrat Kelly Mateja.

Crummey was Colonie town justice for more than 20 years. He’s also been attorney for the Colonie Zoning Board.
