DEC confirms recent harmful algal bloom in Lake George

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation has confirmed the harmful algal bloom in Hall Marina in Lake George. It was first detected by Lake George Association Staff.
The DEC says the algal dissipated almost immediately, but may reform.
They were on site again Friday, evaluating current conditions.
Lake George experienced its first harmful algal bloom in November of last year.
