DMV: Potential drivers must wait for test results

There’s a change at the DMV for teens and others who are getting their license in New York.

NewsChannel 13 has learned you aren’t told if you pass or fail right after the test anymore. Now, you have to go online and learn if you passed or failed at the end of the day.

The state’s DMV website says "after the road test, the examiner will give you instructions on how to receive your test results."

NewsChannel 13 has reached out to DMV for an explanation for the change.
