Dog dies after being found lying in snow near Schenectady road
Police in Schenectady are investigating after a dog was found near death on the side of a road.
Someone living on Cresse Avenue saw the pit bull lying in the snow around 8 a.m. Monday.
Authorities tell NewsChannel 13 the young dog was thin and weak. They brought it to an animal hospital, where it died that night.
Police say the dog had no collar or microchip.
They’re asking people living in that area to check their security cameras.
