Nearly 1,500 hundred women from 26 states have signed up for the race. The run was virtual last year due to COVID. Runners this year have the option of participating in person or virtual.
"The in person races are definitely much better than the virtual races," said Karen Bertasso, one of the runners. "Just the excitement of seeing other people out there, people you haven’t seen in a while because of COVID, just from the running community itself. So it’s great to be back out there with everyone."
