GE workers are no longer required to get vaccinated against coronavirus. It comes after a U.S. District Court in Georgia has halted the Biden administration’s vaccine mandate for federal contractors.
"We have decided to pause implementation of the executive order in line with the preliminary injunction and informed employees yesterday," a GE spokesperson said in a statement to NewsChannel 13.
As NewsChannel 13 has reported, GE was requiring all employees be fully vaccinated or face termination.
The order prompted people to hold a walkout back in October.
