COLONIE – Birds and bees, bats and butterflies all play a major role in helping plants reproduce. However, their habitats are being drastically altered by humans.
Two local girl scouts have created a pollinator garden outside the Colonie Town Library.
They want to raise awareness and help visitors to the library appreciate nature.
Schuyler Klee and fellow Girl Scout Gianna Lorusso earned a Silver Award for their work on the pollinator garden.
