Gloversville to receive $10 million for downtown revitalzation

Gloversville is getting $10 million. It’s one of the fifth-round winners of the Downtown Revitalization Initiative.
The initiative is to help communities boost their post-pandemic economies. Each of the state’s 10 Regional Economic Development regions are being awarded $20 million.
In the Mohawk Valley, Gloversville is receiving half of that money. In the Capital Region, Tannersville and Troy received the grant.
