Gov. Hochul releases new guidance for reopening schools
Gov. Hochul announced new requirements and guidance for reopening New York schools.
The Public Health and Health Planning Council passed an emergency regulation, saying all teachers, administrators and other school employees must submit to weekly COVID-19 testing unless they show proof of vaccination.
These new actions follow Hochul’s announcement last week, which said masks are required for everyone in school buildings.
The governor also released guidance for classroom instruction.
