Guilderland is celebrating nearly 20 new businesses.
All opened up during the pandemic, but because of the COVID restrictions, they were not able to hold ribbon cuttings. So the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce hosted a marathon ribbon cutting on Tuesday.
CDTA helped get people from one business to the next.
Each ceremony was brief, but organizers say it was important for them to do this.
"A ribbon cutting is just a happy, PR, community event and, you know, to miss that opportunity at businesses, to host something, it’s really important to welcoming them into the community," said Danielle Walsh, the Executive Director of the Guilderland Chamber of Commerce.
NewsChannel 13 went along for the ride for stops at The Nines at Western Turnpike, Upstate Nutrition and Chase Bank.
