Guilderland police warn residents of recent vehicle thefts

Guilderland police are reminding residents to make sure they lock their vehicles.

Police say they are continuing to receive reports of thefts from unlocked vehicles overnight. Recent reports are coming from the Fort Hunter area.

Residents are reminded to always lock their vehicles and to not leave valuables inside. Also to lock homes and sheds.

Use outside lighting, alarms and security cameras if available.
