A Halfmoon man who pleaded guilty to injuring a police officer while trying to escape custody was sentenced Monday morning in Saratoga County Court.
Duane McEwan was sentenced to five years in prison.
The incident happened in April 2021 during a traffic stop near Mohawk Commons.
