Gov. Kathy Hochul says masks will now be required in all child care and day care centers in New York.

Face coverings are now required at state-regulated child care facilities for children ages 2 and up and for all staff and visitors.

Masks will also be needed at state-regulated residential and congregate day programs.

The governor made the announcements Tuesday morning from the Red Room at the Capitol.
