After she takes over the governor’s office on August 24, Kathy Hochul says she will take 45 days to create what she’s calling "The Dream Team".
She says the last time she spoke with Gov. Cuomo was last Tuesday, the day he announced he would resign.
"I roll up my sleeves and I get the job done. Because I don’t have time for distractions, particularly coming into this position," said Hochul.
Her number one priority is keeping kids safe in schools with COVID cases surging right now. She’s already starting that process, having meetings with superintendents and teachers unions, saying this is how she works.
