A Washington County man is facing a string of charges after police say he broke into a home while the owners were asleep — and threatened one of the residents with a gun when they woke up.
Cory Lamarque, 19, of Hudson Falls broke in to steal from the home. That’s according to the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. They say that when one of the homeowners confronted Lamarque, he pointed a long gun at the person before running off.
Investigators found Lamarque nearby and arrested him. He’s charged with second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, and second-degree menacing.
Lamarque was arraigned and released.
