Incident at Colonie home ends peacefully
Police respond to New Loudon Road in Colonie on Thursday afternoon.[Lucas Spann]
Colonie police say an incident in the 1100 block of New Loudon Road, near Boght Road has ended peacefully.
They tell NewsChannel 13 that on Thursday afternoon, they received a call for an emotionally disturbed person in a car who had a knife, and that man was threatening to harm himself and others.
Police were able to peacefully negotiate with the man. He was taken to the hospital for an evaluation.
