Jurors are now deliberating the fate of a former GE engineer.
Xiaoquing Zheng from Niskayuna is charged with economic espionage.
He’s accused of stealing trade secrets.
Prosecutors say he hid sensitive data about turbine technologies in a digital photo, emailed them to himself, then forwarded them to his business partner in China.
Zheng was arrested in 2018.
