Kids ages 12 and 13 can now hunt in Rensselaer County

A law allowing 12 and 13-year-olds to hunt now has final approval in Rensselaer County.
County Executive Steve McLaughlin signed it Wednesday.
The door was opened after New York state made it possible for each county to decide.
McLaughlin said once word got out, calls and messages started coming in from people in favor of letting this happen.
