Latham floral distributor hard at work for Valentine’s Day

LATHAM – Inside a Latham building, you’ll find rows and boxes of flowers.

The Bill Doran Company’s Albany location distributes these flowers to florists throughout the Capital Region and beyond.

It’s no surprise Valentine’s Day is one of its busiest holidays.

General Manager Michael Bentley says they expect orders to be up this year.

He says they haven’t run into too much trouble with the supply chain, but there can sometimes be delays because their flowers come from all over the world.

People ask for a variety of flowers, but roses are still the big seller.
