Leading Republican NY gubernatorial candidate announces running mate

The New York State Republican Party holds its nominating Convention next week. Now their leading candidate for governor announced his running mate.

Lee Zeldin introduced Alison Esposito as his preferred candidate for lieutenant governor.

Esposito is a deputy inspector with the New York City Police Department, but is retiring from the force to run for public office.
