Man charged in Pittsfield shooting

A Berkshire County man is facing charges in a shooting.
Police say 42-year-old Terrell Ortiz of Pittsfield shot a 34-year-old victim on Thursday at a home on West Street.
Pittsfield police say the two knew each other and that this was not a random act.
Ortiz was arrested in New Jersey.
The victim is expected to survive.
