Milton still considering opting out of cannabis lounges

MILTON – There’s still no decision yet from the town of Milton on opting out of cannabis lounges.
As NewsChannel 13 reported earlier this week, the town held a public hearing, hoping to opt out of businesses where cannabis is consumed.
The town board could vote on the issue on November 24.
In Rensselaer County, the village of Valley Falls is also opting out of all cannabis sales.
The village board is saying no to allowing retail cannabis dispensaries and onsite cannabis lounges.
