Mohawk Hudson Humane Society receives $1 million gift

MENANDS – The Mohawk Hudson Humane Society unveiled the new name of its animal care center.
It’s all thanks to a large donation from business for good and Lisa and Ed Mitzen.
The million-dollar gift also comes with a new name for the state-of-the-art facility that houses the Humane Society. It’ll be called The Lisa Mitzen Animal Care Center.
The gift was the single-largest gift in the facility’s 135-year-old facility.
