New York reaches lowest positivity rate since the start of the pandemic
Today New York’s positivity rate has dropped below .30%, the lowest on record since the pandemic began early last year.
The statewide 7-day average positivity rate is 0.38%, a record low for 23 consecutive days and has steadily declined for 76 consecutive days.
60,498 vaccine doses administered over last 24 hours and the vaccination rate is 70.9%
Hospitalizations have dropped below 500 for first time since September 22.
There were 4 covid-19 deaths statewide to report, lowest since September 28.
