NewsChannel 13, Price Chopper, American Red Cross raise $71,000 for tornado victims

NewsChannel 13 wants to thank all of our viewers who donated to tornado disaster relief.

NewsChannel 13 teamed up with Price Chopper-Market 32 and the American Red Cross back in December.

It started after at least 24 tornadoes ripped across six states.

Price Chopper matched all donations up to $10,000. In all, you helped raise $71,000.

The Red Cross has been on the ground since the tornadoes hit providing shelter, food, comfort and care for displaced residents.
