COLONIE – Lots of people came out Thursday evening for a holiday parade that was thrown for 7-year-old Lucas Jones in Colonie.
Lucas is in quarantine right now – infected with COVID. So family and friends including fire and police officers paraded to his house on Iris Lane.
Lucas says it feels like Déjà vu.
"We wanted to come out here and definitely make sure that he felt the love, ’cause he’s missing out on all these Christmas activities at school, at home and especially with his family," said Taylor Kraft, Lucas’ cousin.
Lucas’ mother, Jennifer, tells NewsChannel 13 despite having to quarantine for the second year in a row on Christmas – Lucas is still in good spirits and is well on the road to recovery.
