Beware of a phishing scheme targeting New Yorkers.
The scammers are using fake texts to try and get their hands on your personal information.
The illegitimate text messages reference the "Secretary of State New York Driver’s License Facility" and tell you to update your data for your driver’s license.
Don’t fall for it.
If you get one, delete it.
