Pittsfield court closed after several staff members test positive for COVID-19

71 New Yorkers died from COVID-19 Tuesday. That includes a woman in her 30s from Schenectady County and a person in their 90s from Warren County.
Albany County is reporting 201 new cases within the last day and the highest number of hospitalizations since February 20th.
Over in the Berkshires, Pittsfield District Court is closed for the rest of the week after several staff members of the staff test positive for COVID-19. Some of those members were in the courthouse as recently as Wednesday.
Emergency matters will be handled virtually or in person at courts in North Adams and Great Barrington.
