Police say a man from Albany stole a Porsche and then crashed it on the Northway.

Evan Febres, 28, is charged with grand larceny, driving while intoxicated and driving without a license.

According to Albany police, Febres took the sports car from the parking lot of 677 Prime Wednesday night, and then refused to stop when officers tried to pull him over in the area of Clinton Avenue and Quail Street.

They say they ended their high-speed pursuit on New Scotland Avenue.

A short time later, state troopers responded to a rollover near Exit 16 of the Northway.

They took Febres into custody and turned him over to Albany police, who say he’s been arrested half a dozen times since August.
