Police: Body found in Cherry Plain State Park is missing woman

The Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office is confirming that the body found at Cherry Plain State Park Sunday is 20-year-old Morgan Bates, the woman missing from Washington County.
The Rensselaer County Sheriff’s Office says the death is suspicious. It is not clear if an autopsy has been performed.
Bates had last been seen in Eagle Bridge, Washington County and potentially spotted in Rensselaer County last Tuesday.
