Police in Rensselaer to text some 911 callers for community feedback
Police in Rensselaer launched a new community feedback service in the city.
The service uses text messaging to contact some 911 callers and other that have recently reported or been involved in non-life threatening incidents.
The texts will be set out hours or days after an incident, and will ask citizens to take a quick survey about their experience with the police department.
Police say this will allow the residents to give comments and feedback after police interactions.
