A new Siena poll was released Tuesday on how New Yorkers feel regarding the current situation on the pandemic.
The Siena College Research Institute Poll found 68% of people believe the worst of the pandemic is behind us. However, 17% think the worst is yet to come, and 47% of people are still being cautious due to their worry of getting sick.
The poll also finds that most people have become more comfortable taking part in social summer activities. Researchers are seeing New Yorkers inviting friends over to their house, going to the beach, traveling for vacation and dining indoors at restaurants again.
