Price of some take-home COVID tests going up

In recent weeks, it’s been near impossible for some to find COVID-19 tests. And now, some of the take-home tests are going to cost more.
Walmart and Kroger raised the price of Abbot’s test kits after an agreement with the White House expired. That deal said the stores would sell the tests for a reduced price.
The Binax Now kit is now $19.88 on Walmart’s website. That’s up from $14 last month. The kits include two test each.
