Renovations planned for Riverside Maple Farm site

Riverside Maple Farm is holding a close-out sale as a new property owner prepares to renovate the site.
Tony Hynes, owner of Colonie-based robotics manufacturing company Precision Value and Automation, bought the Schenectady property and plans to build a craft distillery, tasting room, and event center.
Hynes also plans to move the Adirondack Barrel Cooperage plant from Remsen to the site.
The sale includes maple syrup, hard maple candy, granulated maple sugar, and bags of coffee. The sale is from November 26-28 and December 3-5 from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Sales are via cash only.
