RENSSELAER – Residents of Renwyck Place in Rensselaer are back in their homes.

As NewsChannel 13 reported on Monday, the senior apartment complex was evacuated after a sprinkler head malfunctioned.

That led to flooding, which sent water flowing through ceilings and floors, flooding hallways and backing up into some of the apartments.

Residents were moved to the Hampton Inn in East Greenbush for the night. They were moved back in on Tuesday afternoon.
