Rhode Island students build school bus hut for kid in wheelchair

WESTERLY, R.I. – Getting on the bus in the morning is a lot more enjoyable for 5-year-old Ryder Kilam of Rhode Island.
Ryder uses a wheelchair to get around.
When a high school construction class heard he would sit out in the elements while waiting for the bus, it got the wheels in their heads spinning. They designed and built a beautiful bus hut for him.
Home Depot donated $300 worth of wood. The Kilam’s purchased $600. The construction class donated countless hours of their time.
