Road detours in place for 19th Street in Watervliet

If you usually travel through Watervliet, lookout for a few road closures Nov. 30.

Nineteenth Street in Watervliet is scheduled to close from 9 a.m to 3 p.m. The following detours will take effect:

For all eastbound traffic (heading towards Troy):

1. North on 12th Avenue to 25th Street.
2. East on 25th Street to 5th Avenue
3. South on 5th Avenue to 19th Street
4. East on 19th Street where the detour will end

For all westbound traffic (heading towards Latham):

1. North on 5th Avenue to 25th Street
2. West in 25th Street to 12th Avenue
3. South on 12th Avenue to 19th Street
4. West on 19th Street where the detour will end

Signs will be in place to assist in detours. It is essential that you plan extra time for your morning commute.
