RPI president Jackson to retire after more than two decades

TROY – RPI will have a new president next summer.
After more than two decades, President Shirley Jackson announced her plans to retire.
Jackson became the first African-American woman to lead a top-ranked research university when she was named the 18th president of the Troy institution.
Her final day will be July 1, 2022.
