SCCC launches Brewer/Distiller Apprenticeship Program

SUNY Schenectady launches its new Brewer/Distiller Apprenticeship program Tuesday.

Expanding on its non-credit brewing classes, the apprenticeship hopes to bring new employees to the brewing industry and provide a no-cost or low-cost way for those in the industry to expand their skills.

Also, under SUNY Apprenticeship funds, apprentices are receiving $5,000 to go towards their tuition or other related expenses.

Courses will take place at Schenectady’s Frog Alley Brewing Co. two days a week.
