Schulyer Inn families get a Christmas miracle

This year, some church members are making it their mission to give every child a Christmas to remember.

Volunteers handed out gifts to parents at the Schuyler Inn for all the children. The Schuyler Inn in Menands is an emergency housing shelter. People with Victory Christian Church in Albany say they are seeing more people in need this year and they wanted to make a difference.

“We’ve got a lot of needs this year. We’ve gotten so many calls,” said Pastor Charlie Muller. “We’re getting calls every single day from two weeks before Thanksgiving this year. We know there is a great need this year and we put together huge bags filled with gifts for each child.”

Volunteers at the church say this is what the season is all about. They are happy to be a part of this event year after year.
