Some rural Capital Region areas one-step closer to broadband internet

Congressman Antonio Delgado is one step closer to bringing broadband internet access to rural areas in the Capital Region.

Delgado announced Monday that the house approved his request for funding to connect over 300 homes and businesses with broadband access in Columbia County.

Within the legislation, Delgado secured over $800,000 in broadband funding.
Delgado believes broadband is a necessity, not a luxury, especially during the pandemic.
