State Police give out record number of work zone violation

State Police say they handed out a record number of tickets during this year’s "Operation Hardhat".
The initiative is a crackdown on work zone violations. 2,336 tickets were issued during the operation. That breaks last year’s record of 2,018′ tickets.
Most were for speeding, followed by cell phone use, missing seatbelts, and failure to move over.
