Suicidal person hospitalized after New Lebanon shooting with state police
State police are investigating a shooting in the town of New Lebanon. They say troopers responded to a report of a suicidal person Thursday morning at a home on State Route 22.
Police say troopers responded to a report of a suicidal person this morning at a home on State Route 22 in New Lebanon.
Police say the individual, 40-year-old Sarah Craddock, pointed a long gun at the troopers.
One trooper fired his shotgun, hitting Craddock in the stomach.
Troopers provided immediate medical attention and Craddock was taken to Albany Med.
There is no word yet on her condition.
No officers were injured.
