Survey: COVID still top of mind for 3/4 of New Yorkers

A new poll finds COVID is still top of mind for most New Yorkers. The survey from the Siena College Research Institute finds 78% of New Yorkers think about protecting themselves from COVID every day.
Right now, only 50% think the worst of the pandemic is over. That’s down from 68% back in June.
The poll also finds nearly all New Yorkers, 91%, carry a mask with them whenever they leave home.
