The Adirondack Balloon Festival returns this year

The 48th Adirondack Balloon Festival returned this weekend to Queensbury. Last year, they were not able to have an event due to COVID. The event went on this year with modifications. Thousands of people came out Saturday to Floyd Bennett Memorial Airport.
There were balloons from all over the nation. There were between 45 to 50 balloons on display.
There were a variety of colorful balloons for people to see On Saturday evening the balloons didn’t go in the air. Instead, they had a moon glow. The balloons illuminated on the ground.
Event goers say they enjoyed seeing the balloons light up.
