The call was put out once again and the Capital Region answered.
There’s a new record for the number rolls of toilet paper that were collected for the annual T-P drive.
First New York Federal Credit Union along with Catholic Charities have been collecting toilet paper since 2016 for people in need.
The drive was started after organizers learned you cannot buy personal care products using SNAP benefits.
And they tell us the need is greater now, more than ever.
11,520 rolls were collected this year, surpassing last year’s total of 10,400.
