Tonko in Rotterdam to highlight federal money going to Schenectady County

ROTTERDAM – Congressman Paul Tonko has been touring the Capital Region, highlighting millions of dollars spent on community projects.

He was in Schenectady County on Thursday to discuss $1.7 million the city is getting in federal money.

The money includes expanding the Hometown Health Dental Clinic and modernizing the Rotterdam Wastewater Treatment Plant.

The money is part of 10 Capital Region projects Tonko backed that are in the federal budget.
