Troy police looking for suspect after chase
NewsChannel 13 is learning more from Troy police as they continue to look for a man who they say led them on a chase in a stolen car.
Police say an officer spotted a stolen vehicle and tried to pull over the driver in the area of 6th Avenue and 102nd Street Saturday night. They say the driver took off in the car and crashed in the area of River Street and Smith Avenue. Police say the person fled the scene on foot and was seen carrying what appeared to be a handgun.
Police say there is no indication of any ongoing threat to the public.
