Underground Railroad Center in Albany to hold workshops on social justice

Plans are underway for FreedomCon, a weekend of workshops studying issues of social justice.

The event is being organized by Albany’s Underground Railroad Education Center.

Organizers say the series will look to the past and the legacy of abolitionists to help build a more equitable tomorrow.

The event is being held the first weekend in April.
