Upcoming Chowderfest one part of weeklong fun in Saratoga Springs

It’s time to make your plans for Saratoga Springs’ biggest event of the winter and spring.

Chowderfest returns this year as a weeklong event called Chowder Tour.

Chowder lovers will dine-in or purchase pints and quarts to-go at participating restaurants from Saturday, March 19 through Saturday, March 26.

Discover Saratoga will end the week with the traditional Chowderfest celebration on Saturday, March 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be live entertainment and family-friendly activities throughout downtown Saratoga Springs.

Event goers can try $2 samples of chowder and vote for their favorite.

Discover Saratoga’s Darryl Leggieri says, "We encourage visitors to come to Saratoga Springs and make a weekend out of it with special hotel rates at participating hotels, the taste of chowder done right, and to experience the excitement of Saratoga."
